MFG-21 Series Vertically Oriented Unidirectional Adjustable Electromagnet
Description:The MFG-21 series electromagnet features a unidirectional adjustable magnetic field gap, a dual-yoke structure, and a vertical magnetic field direction. When excited by a power supply, it generates a uniform strong magnetic field between the poles. With a spacious operating area and a wide gap adjustment range, it is one of the most commonly used devices in magnetic research. This electromagnet is suitable for Hall effect studies, magnetoresistance effect research, magnetostriction measurements, various magnetometers, Gauss meter calibration devices, magnetic susceptibility measurement devices, and magnetic material measurement equipment.

Magnetic Field Strength

The central magnetic field of the electromagnet is influenced by multiple factors, including air gap, pole face size, and excitation current. Due to the nonlinear magnetization characteristics of the iron core, the relationship between central field strength and excitation current is also nonlinear. The following table provides the relationship curves between magnetic field strength and excitation current for some MFG-21 series models under different air gaps, pole face sizes, and excitation currents. Due to variations in materials and manufacturing processes, the curves are for reference only. Please contact us for more detailed magnetic field parameters.
